ISD Rome

The ISD Rome School

The ISD Rome

stands on an extraordinary campus spanning over 5 hectares, nestled within a protected natural expanse to the north of the city. This setting offers an ideal environment for both academic pursuits and the overall well-being of our students. It’s a place that’s deeply connected to Europe and provides ample opportunities for socio-cultural and athletic activities.

Unique in its category, ISD Rome is the sole French school in Europe to furnish a boarding service, catering to students in search of an international atmosphere and a fulfilling human experience.

As a partner institution with the French Foreign Education Agency (AEFE), the school strictly adheres to teaching programs sanctioned by both French and Italian academic authorities. This ensures that our students are well-prepared for not only French qualifications such as the brevet and baccalaureate but also for Italian and international certifications like Terza Media, ESABAC, Cambridge certifications, and looking ahead, the International Baccalaureate (IB).

The school comprises:

160 classrooms

2 libraries

1 large auditorium with theater, music and dance studios

1 digital technology room

1 canteen

1 health and well-being area

1 indoor gym, including 1 basketball and handball court

1 motor skills room

1 football pitch and 1 athletics track

For over 60 years, the Institut International Saint-Dominique has been welcoming pupils from a large number of countries, from preschool to the final year (of high school, terminale), wishing to follow a thorough French education in an international environment. Stepping through the door of Saint-Dominique means stepping into a curriculum of academic excellence and benefitting from a framework adapted to the needs of each pupil.
