La Petite Ecole Bangkok established in 2007, stands as a bilingual preschool, offering instruction in both English and French. Nestled within the heart of Sathorn, central Bangkok, Thailand, the school was granted official approval by the French Ministry of Education in 2019, attesting to the quality of education it delivers. It’s proudly partnered with the AEFE (French Foreign Education Agency). Currently, La Petite Ecole Bangkok has an enrollment of over sixty students.
The school diligently follows the French national curriculum, delivering it in both French and English, courtesy of two native-speaking teachers. This education extends to students from preschool (TPS, 2.5 years) all the way up to the 3rd year of preschool (GS, 6 years) – Cycle 1. To ensure a high standard of education, the teaching team undergoes continuous training, both internally and through their collaboration with the French Foreign Education Agency (AEFE).
La Petite Ecole warmly embraces families from all backgrounds. It embraces its host country, its language, and its culture. In this nurturing family-oriented setting, children play, create, learn, and assess themselves. An innovative and distinct system, centered around ongoing workshops with open access for class groups, places children at the core of learning while stimulating their curiosity. This educational approach draws inspiration from the Reggio Emilia method and Céline Alvarez’s approach.
The school’s exceptional surroundings, including a vast natural garden, shaded by trees and well-lit rooms, play an integral role in the learning experience. The diverse age groups foster independence and mutual assistance while enabling children to become responsible.
