Lycée Français International d’Anvers

The LFIA School

The Lycée Français International is an accredited educational institution, in partnership with the AEFE (French Foreign Education Agency).

Currently, the school is home to around 150 students, ranging from 2.5 years to 18 years of age.

Following the footsteps of approximately 500 French schools situated across 130 countries worldwide, the Lycée Français International shares a mission of offering a high-quality French education not only to French pupils but also to students from diverse backgrounds.

To cater to this varied student body, we’ve embraced an ambitious policy of cultural and linguistic diversity. Recognizing the importance of integration with the local community, we prioritize the acquisition of the Dutch language.

Our high school section provides a bilingual education in both French and English starting from the 2nd year of the preschool cycle 1 (MS). For students between the 2nd year of primary school – Cycle 2 (CE1) and the 5th year of primary school – Cycle 3 (CM2), families have the choice between a bilingual French-English or French-Dutch education.

Situated a mere 40 kilometers from Brussels, the Lycée Français International offers a nurturing environment, bolstered by excellent rail connections that position Antwerp only 35 minutes away from Brussels Central Station.

The school comprises:

Large classrooms

1 large tree-lined playground

1 indoor sports hall

1 theater

1 canteen

1 library
