Alexandre Duriez French-speaking teacher (France)

Biography

It was my experience as a leader at youth camps that first led me to teaching. After several experiences at holiday camps, I wanted to help pass on knowledge and values to children. I then turned to teaching and passed the competitive exam to become an elementary school teacher. With a master’s degree in Elementary Education (MEEF), I subsequently taught for a year in the Orléans region of France.

Passionate about travel, I found my calling by embarking on an international career path. I taught for seven years in Africa, within several educational systems, before joining the Lycée Français International de Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic.

With ten years of experience in the teaching profession, I am a structured and caring teacher, attentive to the classroom environment and the progress of each student. I particularly appreciate the multidisciplinary nature of the profession, which allows me to support students in many areas and contribute to both their personal growth and their academic success.

I am excited to join La Petite Ecole Ho Chi Minh City and to discover Vietnamese culture.
