Biography

Hello! My name is Garrett Lombard, and I’m a dedicated and passionate educator from
Ireland. I have been teaching Grade 1 and 2 in Vietnam for the past six years, and I love
working with young learners.

My teaching style is warm, engaging, and inclusive. I believe in creating a classroom
where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn. I enjoy bringing creativity,
curiosity, and fun into daily lessons, while also helping students build strong academic and
social foundations.

I’m genuinely interested in each child’s growth and enjoy seeing their confidence develop
as they explore new ideas. Teaching in a bilingual, environment has deepened my
appreciation for cultural diversity and helped me become an even more flexible, reflective
teacher.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing sports such as tennis and football, traveling,
reading, and exploring Vietnam’s vibrant culture and communities.
