Biography

Hello! I’m Jennifer, originally from a small village near Edinburgh, Scotland. I grew up surrounded by nature, and my childhood was filled with hiking, cooking, playing sports, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I’ve always had a deep love for travel, exploration, and learning about different cultures and ways of life.

Seven years ago, just after turning 21, I spent time in Vietnam, and I instantly fell in love with the country and its people. Ever since, I felt a strong pull to return. So, after completing my degree in education, I spent two years teaching in Scotland before deciding to take the leap and continue my teaching journey in Vietnam.

This past year at La Petite Ecole has been incredibly rewarding. I strive to create a classroom environment that is positive, inclusive, and welcoming, where children are encouraged to learn through play and sensory stimulation. My classroom ethos is based around fostering positive relationships and making learning a fun process.

I’m hoping this year is filled with more laughs, great memories and an exciting year of growth and learning.
