Biography
I grew up in a small village in Northern Vietnam. As a teenager, I helped children in rural areas who did not have the opportunity to go to school. This is how I got pleasure out of – and developed a passion – teaching.
In 2005, I came to Ho Chi Minh to study Commerce, Administration and Accounting. While I was studying, I did a bit of English, Maths and Vietnamese tutoring. I then worked in a school in the Philippines, which was a very rewarding educational and social experience. Studying Social Sciences in Europe also gave me access to other cultures, other ways of thinking and teaching.
At La Petite Ecole, I started out as an assistant in Cycle 1 before teaching Vietnamese lessons.
